Playing with Kubot, began season by reaching Sydney QFs (l. to Hutchins-Kerr), then Australian Open 3rd RD (l. to Karlovic-Vemic)…Captured sixth ATP World Tour doubles title (6-11 overall) at Santiago, in early February…Beat Starace-Zeballos 64 60 in 66-minute final…"We want to qualify for London once again and I think the title in Santiago puts us a step closer towards our goal."…Backed up their title effort in Santiago with a runner-up finish at Costa do Sauipe the following week, falling to Cuevas-Granollers in straight sets… The pair recombined two weeks later as they stormed to victory at the Abierto Mexicano Telcel, defeating Italians Fabio Fognini and Potito Starace 60 60 to cap an excellent showing in the Latin American “Golden Swing”.
